We will take a special look at the companies that claim to provide Drop shipping or fulfillment services, since a lot of you are interested in using them for your eBay and Online ecommerce business.

Many of you have been asking about Worldwide Brands and if it is a good company to help find legitimate, honest wholesale and drop ship suppliers to find products to sell on eBay and in your online stores. The question has become even more popular since they raised their membership fee a few weeks ago, so here is the report.

Who They are
Worldwide Brands Inc. has been in business since January of 2000. They are located in Maitland, Florida USA. They have been a BBB Accredited business since January 2003. They have a satisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau in central Florida. See BBB Report Chris Malta, is the Founder and CEO, Rob Cowie, is the President.
 

What they offer
Worldwide Brands, Inc. is an information resource for online retailers looking for wholesale products to sell online. It is a web based database directory. Their product, OneSource, is an online application (updated daily) providing direct contact information for Factory Authorized Wholesalers and Market Research data. There is a one-time fee (see website for the current cost) no monthly or annual dues. A Drop Ship Distributor is a wholesale company that will ship one product at a time to your Internet customer for you, right from their warehouse.

My Report
They do provide a good service for quickly finding wholesale and drop ship companies to supply products. If you have ever tried to find wholesale or drop ship product suppliers you know how frustrating and time consuming it can be, where do you even begin?. If you have tried using the internet to find drop ship wholesale companies then you know about the dropship scams & cons that come up in the search results.

Worldwide Brands has a staff of people that do the hard work and research as a service. They seem to do a decent job at checking out and qualifying the companies listed. However once and a while a company may change their policies and procedures , or even stop offering the products they originally listed.

Remember Worldwide Brands is NOT a product supplier, they offer an on line directory of wholesale and Drop ship companies that provide the products. You then will need to apply to become a re-seller, they do provide a nice feature to its members that allow you to just click a button and submit all your information directly to the vendor. Most Wholesale and Drop ship companies will require you to have a re-sellers sales tax ID and or a company website.

Is Worldwide Brands worth the sign up fee? It depends on whether you have more time, or money? If you have plenty of time and patience, and are willing to research and call the companies yourself, then you can save some money.

If you have less time and want to avoid the hassle of personally checking out hundreds of companies yourself, then spend the money and get the membership. If you're just getting started selling online it can help you find those first few product suppliers you need. I used the service when I first started selling on eBay and online, and found it to be a huge time saver.

My Opinion
All in all I feel they offer a good service for the value. They are the only wholesale Drop ship directory that is a Certified eBay Provider, and seem to keep their directory up to date. I personally have signed up as a member and have heard of some great reports from others as to how well it has worked for them.
